I've set up an affiliate program for the Simpson Desert Travel Guide — a practical, no-nonsense guide for anyone planning a Simpson Desert crossing. If your audience overlaps with mine — 4WD travellers, overlanders, outback campers, desert explorers — this is likely a natural fit.

The Simpson Desert Travel Guide covers everything a traveller needs to actually prepare for and complete a desert crossing — fuel, water, tyres, recovery gear, navigation, weather, permits, sand driving technique, wildlife, and a lot more. It's based on 30+ years of desert travel and 20+ crossings of the Simpson, not on theory.

It is not a coffee table book. It's a working guide for people who are actually going.

How the Affiliate Program Works

- You receive a unique link to share with your audience
- When someone clicks your link and purchases the guide within **6 months**, you earn a commission — even if they don't buy immediately
- I track everything through e-junkie's affiliate system, which shows you your referrals and earnings in real time

Commission: 25% per sale

So on a [59.95] sale, you earn [14.98] for every book sold through your link. No cap, no tiers, no expiry on the commission window.

Getting Paid

I pay quarterly via PayPal, covering the previous quarter's sales:

- Q1 sales (Jan–Mar) → paid in April
- Q2 sales (Apr–Jun) → paid in July
- Q3 sales (Jul–Sep) → paid in October
- Q4 sales (Oct–Dec) → paid in January

When you set up your e-junkie account, just make sure you add your PayPal email in your profile (Affiliate Admin → Edit Profile) — that's where I'll send payment. No minimum threshold; whatever you've earned for the quarter gets paid out.

There's no quota, no obligation to promote on any schedule, and no ongoing commitment. If it works for your audience and earns you some income, great. If it doesn't fit, no problem.
